Each extension will be stored in its own folder named after the ID of the extension.įor example, below is the folder that contains the currently installed Chrome extensions, with each subfolder corresponding to an installed extension. This installation ID is sent to the manufacturer to verify the authenticity of the product key and to ensure that the product key is not being used for. When extensions are installed into Chrome they are extracted into the C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions folder.

Running grub-install install a GRUB (some of it. Therefore if you have several partitions with /boot (or the MS windows equivalents, I do not know them but os-prober knows) the os-prober will find them and create grub.cfg accordingly. View the files belonging to an installed Chrome extension The command grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg runs os-prober (if it can find it) which scans all partitions and produces a grub.cfg pointing to all the OSes. The second method is to use an extension called Chrome extension source viewer that makes it very easy to view the source code of an extension directly from the Chrome Web Store. Would anyone be able to help me develop (or point me in the right direction, if this has been asked before) a report or script to get spiceworks to collect this info created by Nitro? It has to be stored somewhere, therefore I would think it could be recalled somehow other than in nitro its self. They said they do not currently have a special tool designed to collect all this info, and that I would have to go around to every PC and manually collect this information, and pointed me to this link: It will only show after you have installed and then launched your product in your host. It CAN NOT be found in your system settings (Control Panel / About this Mac). It creates special installation IDs and computer IDs. The computer ID is based on various components in your computer hardware and can not be changed by the user. That would be fine, however, they need a computer ID and Installation ID that you can only retrieve through Nitro. I've contacted Nitro Support about this issue, and they requested in return I supply a list of every computer with Nitro installed. My only thought is if a computer is reimaged, then Nitro is installed again on the new image, that eats up another license. I know this can't be right because as I stated, i only have about 100 users, and purchased 120 licenses, and Spiceworks says I only have 90 installed.

When I go to install Nitro Pro on a freshly imaged computer (for new users, or a repaired PC), I get a license error from Nitro saying I've reached my maximum installs under my license. My company has only about 100 users, and according to Spiceworks, only 90 installations of any Nitro Pro version. I have volume licensing for 120 installations of Nitro Pro. I've run into a little issue with Nitro Pro that I'm attempting to solve in an easier fashion than what Nitro had to offer.
